Acting as the Interim CFO of a private technology company that was listed as one of Inc.’s Fastest Growing Companies, we were hired to prepare the company for sale. Client received buy offers near the top of its target valuation range.

At the recommendation of the head of the bank’s audit committee, engaged to investigate technical accounting matters, such as impairment, OTTI and deferred taxes. Technical accounting issues investigated and recommendations documented. Accounting decisions reached were accepted by the outside accountants.

As the Interim Chief Accounting Officer, produced SEC reports (such as Q’s, K’s, and Proxies) for a company that backed into a public shell. Assisted with very complex derivative accounting issues, and participated in responses and discussions with the SEC. All SEC reports filed on a timely basis, and complex accounting issues resolved.

At the start of the audit season, a portfolio company of a private equity firm hired us to replace its CFO and its Controller.
