Jim is a Director coordinating the firm’s business development responsibilities for the Philadelphia and South Jersey areas. In addition, he supports the firm’s Construction and M & A practices. He has over twenty-five years of senior financial management experience, with skills in Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost Control, Computer Conversions, Acquisitions, Internal Controls and various financial responsibilities.
More recently, as Vice President of Finance for a 65 million dollar construction firm, he directed a staff of ten Accounting and Administrative professionals, including development of annual business plans and projections, the management of all phases of corporate accounting and internal controls, and preparation of monthly management reports and financial support for the entire business, including the treasury and cash management function for a multi-million dollar operation with two district offices.
Jim was the regional controller for the northeast region of the largest fire protection company (emphasis in inspection, maintenance and service work) in the world. He directed the yearly budgeting and forecasting process, made great strides in cost containment, played a major role in acquisitions for the company and was acknowledged for creating an outstanding motivational team approach.
Jim was also involved in establishing business offices for not for profit organizations in the Delaware Valley. He began his career as a senior accountant in audit with Deloitte CPA’s.
Jim has a BS in Accounting and a MBA from Drexel University and is a CPA in the state of Pennsylvania. He is a member of SADV (Subcontractors’ Association of Delaware Valley).
