Andrew (Drew) Crescenzo is a Director in the firm’s Manufacturing and Distribution and business services practice. Drew has over twenty-five years of experience, both in public accounting and the private sector. During his career in public accounting in senior management roles, primarily at Ernst and Young and Grant Thornton, Drew served small and medium sized growing privately-held and public companies. In the private sector, Drew has served in senior finance roles including, Enzo Biochem, a publicly traded Biotech company with Life Science and Healthcare Service subsidiaries, United Metro Energy Corp, a major Energy retail and wholesale distributor and various consumer product companies. Drew was a key member of the Senior Leadership teams and directly worked with Boards of Directors, bankers, auditors and outside counsels.
Drew’s career in private has been focused on accounting operations and financial reporting. His experience includes overall responsibility for financial reporting, both internal management reporting and external reporting to satisfy SEC regulatory requirements or third-party lenders, budgeting, establishing and monitoring operational controls, business metrics, cost efficiency projects, inventory management and special projects to streamline operations, and to meet strategic goals. He was directly involved with building and mentoring teams and M&A activities from deal negotiation to due diligence to integration of acquired businesses. Has a take charge entrepreneurial management style driven by results.
Drew is a CPA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York Society of CPAs. He graduated with a BS in Accounting from Adelphi University and serves on the Board of the Financial Executives International (FEI) – Long Island Chapter.
